Meeting Details

Meeting Time: 9:30 am daily. Please arrive 5 minutes earlier.

Meeting Place: At the Gate of Lao She Teahouse (Qianmen Branch), Building 3, Zhengyang Market, Qianmenxi Main Street, Xicheng District. It's easy to find on the map.

Transportation: You can take a taxi from your hotel with the Chinese address provided by our travel consultant. Or take subway line 2, get off at Qianmen stop from exit C, and walk a few minutes.

Tour Itinerary

9:40 - 10:30: Visit Tiananmen Square

After meeting your guide and fellow travelers, take a short walk to Tiananmen Square. Learn about its history as the heart of Beijing, the largest city square in the world, and a witness to countless historical events. Admire the Chairman Mao’s Memorial Hall, Monument to the People’s Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, and the National Museum of China. Your guide will explain the symbols on each building. Walk to the Gold River Bridge and through the Gate of Heavenly Peace to reach the Forbidden City.

10:30 - 13:30: Visit Forbidden City

Skip the line with our pre - booked tickets and enter the Forbidden City, the former palace of 24 emperors. Explore the main buildings along the central axis, including the Hall of Supreme Harmony in the outer court and the inner court living quarters. Learn about the superstitions and symbolism in the architecture, and admire the oriental aesthetics behind the yellow roofs and red walls.

13:30: End of the Tour

Once the tour ends near the North Gate, you can choose to leave with your guide or stay longer to explore the Imperial Garden. There are cafes and Beijing snacks in the peripheral area for you to have lunch. Your guide will help you with transportation back to your accommodation.

Departure Guarantee: Departures are guaranteed with 3 persons.

Group Size: Most groups are about 9 people, but there's a 10% chance of groups exceeding 9 people, and we'll make proper arrangements.

Infant Policy: Infants under 3 years old can join the tour for free.

Age Limitation: The tour is suitable for ages 0 to 85 years old. It's not wheelchair - accessible.

Confirmation: Confirmation will be sent within 12 hours upon receiving your booking request.

Payment: Full payment is required at least two days prior to the day trip. We accept payment by PayPal, Credit Card, Alipay, Wechat, and Bank Transfer.

Cancellation: Your payment is fully refundable if you cancel 24 hours prior to the trip. Cancellation within 24 hours before departure or No Show is non - refundable.
